Leeds Marriott Hotel Wedding Photography – Natalie & John
After my first meeting with Natalie and John it was evident how highly they regarded their wedding photography during their day. They had been searching for over a year and half before they picked me to photograph their wedding at Leeds Marriott Hotel. Natalie herself was really into photography and came up with some great ideas and was happy for me to try some of my more creative ideas. They made it clear that they picked me for my creative style and my approach to candid wedding photography. Natalie said she had been planning the wedding in her head for years and had been searching for the best wedding photographers for over a year and a half so I did feel very lucky to have been chosen with a small drop of pressure haha.
The day was filled with every emotion that a wedding should have – even with a hint of sheer panic when Natalie realised just pulling up to the venue that the rings were still at home. You will be pleased to know that after some swift action by myself and the registrars a temporary replacement ring was sought from a family member and no one was any the wiser….. until now.
A couple of photos that really sum up the day for me are the ones within Trinity Shopping Centre, Leeds. Natalie, John and I were having a chat and I jokingly suggested we should have a walk across the road to the shopping centre and get a photo with the T-Rex there. Without hesitation they both agreed (maybe a slight twist of the arm from John on Natalie when she realised what she was doing and what she was wearing). On the way back, totally unprompted Natalie re-enacted the famous scene from the film Bridesmaids of a certain bride on a certain street and it was just brilliant.
